I’ve been scouring various sites and had alerts out for the Prodrive battery clamp and oil filler cap for ages. Again there are a couple of them on eBay but again silly prices for what I think were about £30 when on original sale.These two popped up seperatley within weeks of each other. The battery clamp has a couple of areas peeling but but I think the oil cap was on a car that had a front mounted intercooler and it looks like they have taken a hacksaw and file to it to get round the intercooler pipe work.Doesn’t show from certain angles but it’s not great. Long story short, my friend, his brother and I wound up getting stuck in to straightening the intercooler fins "on a whim" and doing a bunch of other more complex jobs (we just used tweezers). The hours just rolled on by as we kept working away at the car. Anyway, I had totally forgotten that my girlfriend at the time was being dropped over at my parents place (we were all going away on a family holiday the next day). And back then you weren't so expected to have your phone on you all of the time, so I had it in my friend's house while we were in the garage.Turns out I was meant to be home at 2pm when she was getting dropped over. I didn't get home (by the time we finished the work on the car and he dropped me back) until about 9pm.Luckily my parents and her got on very well, but everybody was rather pissed off at me when I got home. Nice car, by the way OP!Having seen a couple of videos it doesn’t seem to be a quick job, and I’m not sure I have the patience to sit there for 7 hours doing it.

Go woke go broke. What's the point of Jaguars USP when any old Chinese EV maker can give you a super smooth 500bhp car with effortless torque and eery refinement for under £50 grand? When Tesla gives you much the same with the added benefit of a luxury charging network? Would it just be beauty?That's about the only thing they could possibly conjure as a point of difference but I doubt they can comply with a myriad of technical parameters for a global car AND make something gorgeous looking. The only way of making something quite different would be to not package the battery as a skateboard
