I think any low volume manufacturer would be extremely hard pushed to get anything that approached that for less than £70k. Even then it would probably be full of generic door pulls, air vents, etc. That also had a 6 year warranty, full specification of important extras and safety features, countrywide main dealer support and the reputation of being the best all round convertible in the world and still couldn't shift enough in Europe to make it worth their while... (allegedly)We all have to face up to the fact that the days of the affordable 2 seat sports car are now gone. After we can't have the masses having fun in their cars can we? It would make people want to go places just for fun and the enjoyment of driving. Can't have the great unwashed doing that anymore. They must know their place...
