증상

E클래스가 리프트에 올려진 상태에서 바퀴가 떨어져 있고 엔진이 켜져 있으며 드라이브 기어에 들어가 있었습니다. 기계공이 운전석 도어를 닫자 차량이 주행 중이라고 인식하여 자동으로 도어가 잠겼습니다. 예비 키가 30마일 떨어진 집에 있었고, 차 안에 집 열쇠도 잠겨 있었습니다. 추가로 연료도 많지 않은 상태였습니다.

처리 내용

Had a few. Had a breakdown in an E46 320d years back. Blew the tips off 2 injectors. No chance of getting home from our holiday location so called recovery. Had a hire van (Small van I was told, long wheel base Vivaro..) for a few days and went to take it back before getting the car recovered home. Fine so far. Getting a taxi back from the rental place to the stricken vehicle and get a phone call from the other half at the time. She's locked the keys in the boot and locked it. Great. I get back, no miracles have happened. Recovery arrives, a guy called Ross. Nice chap. Tried to wedge and unlock the doors from the button inside. No joy. Rear windows are keep-fit so he gets out a slim tool and pops the rear window down. Despite being a high calorie human, I was "assisted" through a window on the rear door with a view to getting in the boot. Saloon model, no boot access behind the rear seats. Next step was to remove the NSR rear speaker using Ross' tools and then a long piece of metal with a hook at the end to fish through the boot full of holiday crap right to the far end of the boot (because of course) and retrieve the keys. We could then silence the alarm that had been screaming it's head off for the better part of 45 minutes. My reward for my trials and tribulations was another hire vehicle to get home. A sodding Chevy Spark with wheel wobble at 70mph. Good job it was just a short 7 hour drive home then. It was free and I still feel like I overpaid! I've also reversed up a mate's drive that had a good metre sheer drop one side so I was paying very careful attention to that, and reversed into his house. 1 small scuff and a bruised ego is all that resulted thankfully.
