It's fat and looks like a Frog.A truly hateful car that somehow the buying public seem to keep buying in large volumes in the UK.This looks like a lazy effort to broaden the appeal to the hot hatch crowd, whom have mostly now gone elsewhere Pretty much my sentiments. I once had the misfortune of having a puma as a rental for 2 days. Was a truly awful car, I really can't wrap my head around how they sell so well.

Somehow ended up with a 200 BHP ST -The Puma is a nicer place to be, its as simple as that - For road use, the driving position is better, outward visibility is better, and the switch gear was better. The extra height made everything, from B Road blasting to pulling out on busy roundabouts, easier. The Puma would also comfortably fit 4 6ft2 males and a boot full of climbing gear in reasonable comfort: There's no way a Fiesta would achieve the same. Would the fiesta be better on a track? Undoubtedly. For real world use? Not a chance. That being said it went after 3 years: suspension was too skittish for our crappy roads, it was thirsty for what it was, and the build quality was very questionable. It was a laugh on a Scottish B road though. The new 1.0L ST is a disappointment: the manual went because the gearboxes were made of cheese, and realisitically the performance is not worth the compromised suspension. You'd be mad to spend even more money on one with coilovers. Yep, the ST is a car that works at 8/10s+ otherwise it is too compromised. Need everything in "Sport" and thrash it. Which means you get 25 mpg out of a 3 cylinder 1 litre car...The EV makes more sense more of the time. Cheaper, better riding and more adjustable at road speeds. The 1 pedal drive means you can adjust your line with ease. Not sure what role the ST has other than being a 1 car "solution" as it wouldn't make sense otherwise.Edited by 911Spanker on Friday 24th July 13:45

All due respect to the current Puma, which is a decent car that drives well, but there is only one in my eyes.I had a Mk1 Puma 1.7 in Moondust Silver when I was 21 as my daily car. I loved how it drove and went everywhere in it, and the car was sort of part of the reason my partner & I got together. I ended up selling it to move on to something else, as we usually do at that fickle age, but I've always hankered after another.I've viewed many Puma's that have promised to be amazing, only to be let down by predictable corrosion (a notable one being a 9k mile example a few years ago that had a fi
