증상
울란바토르의 극저온(-40°C, -36°C)에서 현대 베르나 2006년형 1.5 터보 디젤 엔진 시동 불가. 3개월 전 12V 80Ah 배터리와 글로우 플러그 교체함. 글로우 플러그 가열 후 크랭킹을 5회 반복하면서 배터리 방전. 크랭킹할 때마다 엔진음이 약해지고 크랭킹 속도는 점점 빨라지며 시동 직전까지 간 상태.
처리 내용
극저온 환경에서의 디젤 엔진 시동 문제는 배터리 용량 부족이 주원인입니다. 다음과 같이 대처하세요: 1) 보조 배터리 추가 연결 방법 - 헤비 스타터 케이블로 직접 연결하면 스타터와 충전 시스템이 모두 배터리를 충전합니다. 단점은 조명을 켜두면 두 배터리 모두 방전될 수 있다는 점입니다. 2) 스플릿 차지 시스템(분산 충전 시스템) 사용 추천 - 평상시에는 분리되어 있다가 시동 시에만 보조 배터리를 연결하는 방식으로, 모터홈 등에서 일반적으로 사용됩니다. 이 방식이 배터리 보호 측면에서 더 효율적입니다. 또한 글로우 플러그와 배터리 상태를 점검하고, 극저온 환경에서는 엔진오일 점도도 고려하세요.
