I bought my green Roadster in May 2016 for £922 (Ebay), and I quickly sold the hardtop for £350.I bought my yellow Roadster in February 2025, for £2,200.In the adverts it only showeed it with the hood down and cloth seats.When I went to collect it (another Ebay purchase) it had leather seats and a hardtop.I got home and looked up the hardtops on Ebay and couldn't quite believe it!Now I'm not sure whether to hang on to it, it's a nice thing to have and a nice thing to keep with the car, or have myself an almost half price car!

I took the MR2 to Daikoku Nights at Caffeine and Machine earlier in the week. Ideally I would have cleaned it first, but life has been super busy. It also rained overnight the day before, so probably would have been in vain anyway. Despite being a standard car, and dirty, we were directed to park in the meadow - I had been expecting to be in the carpark. I picked a spot opposite another Sable grey Roadster. My lad came with me and it was good to show him all the various cars - including all 3 generations of MR2, but his favourite was this Impreza Type RA. We took the long, twisty, route home - another great drive in the MR2. Whilst I am doing some work to the garage, the MR2 has been relegated to the drive. However, we’re having the hedges round the drive cut today, so I cleared enough space in the garage for the MR2 and it is tucked up in there again, albeit temporarily.
