증상
2005 쉐보레 말리부에서 가속 페달에서 발을 뗄 때마다 RPM이 유휴 속도로 떨어짐. 시속 70마일에서도 페달을 놓으면 즉시 유휴 RPM으로 내려감. 약간의 가속만 해도 RPM이 3000까지 급상승함. 자동변속기인데 수동변속기에서 클러치를 빼는 것처럼 느껴짐. 또한 유휴 상태에서 RPM이 1000에서 400까지 진동하며, 400에서 엔진이 흔들린 후 다시 1000으로 올라가는 현상 발생.
처리 내용
배기 시스템이 과도하게 제한되어 있었던 것이 원인. 머플러를 교체하여 문제 해결. 변속기 솔레노이드를 교체했을 때 변속 문제는 해결되었지만 RPM 강하 문제는 해결되지 않음. SeaFoam 엔진 세척제를 흡기에 넣고 스파이럴 가속(높은 회전수 가속)을 수행한 후 증상 개선됨.
