My one takeaway from it was that it felt decidedly cheap and nasty. The suspension on it was hard and unforgiving in the rear and it just felt tacky. Whereas the Seal felt like a car, with heavier doors, better leather and nicer trim.I would say your EQE would be better, it’s a class above, it’s an electric E class. Sadly my allowance doesn’t go that far, so the CLA was the only thing I could get in the same bracket, it was cheap and nasty.I looked at the Mercedes first as I really like them, my dad has owned many over the years, SEL’s, SEC’s, 300E 24v, the list goes on. The CLA was/is just nasty.As for looks, I think the Seal is way better looking than any Tesla but that’s not hard, and if it had a Korean or Japanese badge on the front, I am not sure people would be commenting on its looks negatively. In the real world, anyone that has seen mine and sat in it has remarked (in a very surprised way) of how nice it is.Oh btw, I am not an EV lover or trying to extol the virtues of Chinese cars, just trying to offer a real life view point. Money no object I would be in a Lexus LFA or SLS whilst keeping my Disco 4 for dump and family duties.
