Nice idea but seems like it falls a bit short of the its main rival, the Renault (not least on price and range)

I think these make good second commuting cars…. We have a Renault 5 as a commuter/city….. but….. I wouldn’t feel a need for a hot one. Standard one is brilliant.As with all EVs it works perfectly for those of us fortunate to be able to charge at home/workBut if you lived in city cost of public charging is ruinous. (And I say this as a double EV owner)I admire manufacturers trying to get some joy into them…. And the Renault does that as i’m sure this warm pug will but paying lots more for not much return, and a return that if you enthusiastically use it ruins range is a tough ask.The original hot hatches were cheap, light, enjoyable on a country road and easy to fill up….. try as they might EVs struggle to match up- I suspect, sadly, it’s an era too hard to resurrect
