2004 Ford Taurus SES, DuraTec V6, 115,000마일. 딜러십에서 오일 교환 후 오일 팬 드레인 플러그 나사산이 거의 없는 상태. 현재 작은 누유 발생 중이며, 향후 심각한 누유 발생 가능성 있음.
처리 내용
손상된 나사산을 복구하는 방법: 1) 헬리코일(Heli-coil) 또는 유사한 나사산 인서트를 사용 - 구멍을 더 크게 드릴링한 후 인서트 설치. 단, 드릴링 시 발생하는 금속 칩이 오일팬에 남지 않도록 팬을 제거한 후 작업 필요. 2) 전문 쓰레드 부싱 제품 사용 - 유사 기능 수행. 두 방법 모두 오일 팬 개스킷 교체와 팬 제거/재설치 비용 필요. 헬리코일 방법은 추가로 구멍 준비, 헬리코일 설치, 새로운 드레인 플러그 교체 비용 발생. 비용 대비 효율성 고려 시 새 오일 팬 교체 권장 - 이미 개스킷 교체와 노동비가 필요하므로, 중고 팬이나 저가 교체품 확보 시 전체 비용을 낮출 수 있음.
