증상
1975 Ford F-350가 6개월간 방치되었다가 시동을 걸려고 했을 때 시작되지 않음. 연장된 크랭킹에도 불구하고 시동 안 걸림. 카뷰레터에 직접 연료 1티스푼을 추가하면 엔진이 몇 초 동안 작동하여 압축, 점화, 스파크는 정상이고 연료 공급 문제임을 확인. 연료 라인 분리 시 엔진이 재시동됨.
처리 내용
카뷰레터의 플로트 또는 니들 밸브 어셈블리가 고착되었을 가능성이 높음. 플로트가 연료 보울 완전 충전 위치에 고착되었거나 침전물이 포트를 막았을 수 있음. 연료 라인 분리로 인한 진동이 문제를 제거했을 가능성 있음. 문제가 다시 발생하면 스크루드라이버 손잡이로 카뷰레터를 가볍게 두드려 플로트를 풀어주고 시동을 거는 것을 시도해보세요.
