As such it needs the pricing to reflect this or it won't be credible.When you factor in these new Chinese customers:1. don't have the option of a used Evora or older GT3 (because they aren't any in China) 2. have a large disposable income3. Are only interested in buying a new car4. Want a foreign brand with motorsport heritageyou can see why they would try and hike up the price.Judging by the sales figures it doesn't seem to be working though.Sadly, old Lotus owners in the UK are very low down on the list of priorities.Nice thoughts but a bit wrong (but some right, so well done).Old Lotus never made or had any money. It has been desperate for a rich parent for which it finally has. Selling sports cars for small margins is not sustainable, even a Renault Megane can be over £40,000. I can speak as one, but the old Elise days are well gone the people who could afford them still can but they not where the money is for a business.
