증상
애프터마켓 캠버 조정식 컨트롤암과 로우링 적용 후 휠이 안쪽으로 쏠려서 차가 도로 옆으로 쏠림. 상부 컨트롤암 부시 교체 중 소켓과 침투 스프레이를 사용해 부시를 제거함. 날카로운 회전 시 볼조인트에서 나는 것 같은 팝핑음 발생.
처리 내용
문제는 부시가 아니라 애프터마켓 컨트롤암과 로우링의 기하학적 구조일 가능성이 높음. 로우링 같은 변경사항을 적용할 때는 트레이드오프를 고려해야 함. 범프스티어(bump-steer)가 발생할 수 있으며, 기하학적 세팅이 정확하지 않으면 이런 문제들이 나타남. 팝핑음은 차량의 특정 부품 파손으로 인한 것일 가능성이 높음. 캠버, 토우(toe), 캐스터(caster) 등의 휠 얼라인먼트를 재확인하고 필요시 전문점에서 정밀 측정을 받는 것을 권장함.
