증상
2002 포드 토러스. 대시의 주차브레이크(E-brake) 경고등이 계속 켜짐. 주차브레이크 페달 스위치 확인했고 정상 작동. 마스터 실린더 아래의 액압 센서를 분리했을 때 경고등이 꺼짐. 새 센서 교체 후 경고등 다시 켜짐. 우측 후미 드럼브레이크의 휠 실린더에서 아주 미세한 누유 발견, 교체 및 에어 빼기 완료해도 경고등 여전히 켜짐. 중간~강한 페달 압력 유지 시 페달이 천천히 내려가지만 바닥까지 닿지 않음. 누유 없음, 액압 액체 레벨 정상.
처리 내용
새로운 액압 센서 설치 후에도 경고등이 켜진 상태라면, 센서 자체의 불량(초기 불량 또는 호환성 문제) 가능성 확인. 마스터 실린더 내부 시일 손상으로 인한 내부 누유 의심 - 페달 크리프(creep) 현상이 이를 가리킴. 마스터 실린더를 재검사하거나 교체 권장. 마스터 실린더 점검 전에 먼저 센서 전기 연결 상태(접점 산화, 배선 단락)와 센서 동작 전압을 멀티미터로 재확인. 필요시 센서를 다시 분리했을 때 경고등 변화를 재확인하여 센서와 경고등 회로의 연관성 명확히 할 것.

Lovely ready and I love your choice!! The E60 was one of the best M5s I ever had - On road and track Use it, and enjoy every moment of the magnificent engine!! I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.
