I wouldn t think you should mind being compared to the Michelottis and Fruas and Bertones of this world The colour should IMHO be chosen for what best suits the car, not whether it references (or doesn t) the underpinnings. But the underpinnings shouldn t IMHO be concealed or ignored, either, because (with no disrespect to your tremendous skills) you didn t create those.Not sure if it is a consideration or you have tried it, but I find a dark burnt orange can often work well on cars that are a little different like this. Again, its been done in some form or another on a few Nissans, but as ita just playing with a render, then whats to lose, it may look naff, I don't know...
