증상

포드 피에스타, 주행거리 110,000km. 100-120km/h 이상의 속도에서 매끄러운 도로 주행 시 스티어링 휠 진동 발생. 속도를 낮추면 진동이 감소함. 고속 주행 중 범프를 향해 급제동할 때도 진동 발생. 프론트 타이어를 새것으로 교체했으나 고속 진동은 계속됨.

처리 내용

타이어 밸런스 불량 또는 휜 림이 원인일 가능성 높음. 타이어를 장착한 업체에 가서 고속 진동 증상을 설명하고 타이어 밸런스를 재확인받을 것. 브레이크 사용 시에만 진동이 발생하고 브레이크를 놓으면 사라지면 로터 워핑 의심. 먼저 타이어 밸런스 문제를 해결한 후 필요하면 로터 점검. 대부분의 경우 타이어 밸런스 조정만으로 문제가 해결될 가능성이 높음.

All due respect to the current Puma, which is a decent car that drives well, but there is only one in my eyes.I had a Mk1 Puma 1.7 in Moondust Silver when I was 21 as my daily car.
