증상
1998 Ford Escort, 113,000마일. AC 켤 때 냉풍이 나오다가 미온풍으로 변함. 동시에 엔진 온도계가 레드존까지 올라감. 고속도로 주행 중 문제 발생. 기계에서 엔진 헤드 테스트와 냉각수 압력 테스트 실시했으나 이상 없음. 문제 계속 발생.
처리 내용
라디에이터 팬 고장 가능성. 이 차량에서는 라디에이터와 에어컨이 같은 팬을 공유함. 고속 주행 중에는 콘덴서와 라디에이터를 지나는 충분한 공기 흐름이 있음. 속도가 떨어질 때 팬이 작동해서 공기 흐름을 유지해야 함. 팬이 고장나면 AC에서 따뜻한 바람이 나오고 엔진 오버히트 발생 가능. 엔진을 시동하고 AC를 켠 후 컴프레서가 작동할 때 팬도 함께 돌아가는지 확인.

I bought one of these 3 years ago for £21k it had 19k miles on it and all factory options ticked aside from heated steering wheel and colour changing interior lights.For the money I could have bought a semi ropey 90k+ miles German saloon of similar spec and power and would have spend money fixing the higher mileage problems that they would have come with.As it stands, coming up to 37k miles I've paid for new tyres, brakes and a coolant bottle because it had a hairline crack the MOT history is and always has been a clear pass, not a single advisory and I get to hear a supercharged V6 every time
