The U.K. could return to building cars via the new method but there is the insurmountable problem that the consumer population of the U.K. is far too small to support any volume car industry and the U.K. is t going to be able to export them to North America, Europe or Asia and be able to compete against domestic production in those markets at the volume level. The cold reality is that folks need to stop bhing about how the U.K. car industries died in the 90s and instead thank their lucky stars that it did. We have dodged one fking massive bullet!That was my point about automation. And I was adding the point that by definition it brings lower employment levels.
