증상
2002 기아 스포티지에서 주간 1회 정도만 운전하다가 한 달간 방치된 후, 정차 시 대시보드 브레이크 경고등이 순간적으로 점등되었음. 브레이크 유압액이 최저선 아래로 떨어짐. 한 달 후 운전 시 브레이크 페달이 바닥까지 내려가며 거의 제동력이 없음. 브레이크 유압액을 최저선과 최고선 사이 수준으로 추가함.
처리 내용
차량이 드럼 브레이크를 장착하고 있을 수 있음. 주차 중 파킹 브레이크가 걸려 있었다면 부식으로 인해 브레이크 패드 중 하나가 부분적으로 고착되었을 수 있음. 후륜 브레이크 드럼을 분리하여 모든 부품이 정상적으로 움직이는지 확인할 것.

Lovely ready and I love your choice!! The E60 was one of the best M5s I ever had - On road and track Use it, and enjoy every moment of the magnificent engine!! I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.

I think it is a shame to lose one of the distinctive features of the 944 (the wrap around rear screen).Proportions from rear three-quarters are also a bit too Scimitar for my taste but each to their own.
