I would find it hard to read much about London either way in those graphics.Glasgow, London, Paris and most European cities do not

I believe this is the only EV thread I frequent and that's mostly because I have no interest in owning an EV now, but I am interested in the changing market for personal transport, of which EVs are obviously an important part.My perception is that there are a very small number of absolutist ICE fans who take the stance you describe. I feel that the thread is dominated by people who favour EVs and seem determined to win an argument that their cars are better. They are balanced to a large extent by people who don't agree that all of the features of an EV really are better. As with many threads, hardly anyone changes their mind, so things go round in circles with the occasional diversion into something interesting.I see some people with preconceived, often wrong anti ev views being expressed in a combative way.People who actually own evs respond to that. For DDs maybe EVs are genuinely better for many people?I agree, but I see as many people with pro EV views expressed in a similarly combative way, although patronising might be a better word.DD EVs may well be genuinely better for many people. For many they may not.But because someone has owned both only qualifies them to decide what's best for them, in their circumstances. It does not confer all knowing wisdom. And at the same time, not wanting an EV does not necessarily show ignorance, often just a preference for things that EV drivers don't like.Combative responses usually to a combative post. And granted sometimes patronizing as we hit the same bizarre reasons why "evs will never work" again and again. Often getting more and more bizarreAnd its perfectly ok that some people believe an ev wouldn't make a great DD for them. Thats their prerogative. They dont need to keep telling us again and again. No it doesn't confer all knowing wisdom, correct, however it does give us actual experience and knowledge on the subject we are talking abou

This looks fantastic. I think it's got to a point you'd have to be daft to buy the G90 M5 over this or a top end Taycan. Either pure combustion or pure electric, the PHEVs are just a pointless, overcomplicated middle option

Still as subtle as a brick in your face. Not for me.

Other than a slightly bulky rear end, I think that looks fantastic. 9/10. And it's a saloon, not another bloody SUV - hurrah!
