증상
1990 GM 305 보트 엔진에서 시동 시 스타터 그라인딩(갈리는) 소음 발생. 엔진이 역회전하는 현상 관찰. 점화 코일에서 이상한 윙윙거리는 소음 발생. 시동이 일관되게 걸리지 않음.
처리 내용
배전기 brain(제어 모듈) 교체 - 초기 그라인딩의 주원인. 플라이휠 링기어 손상(배전기 문제로 인해 치아 손상됨) - 엔진을 분해하여 플라이휠 교체 필요. 스타터 교체 - 자동차 부품점에서 스타터가 정상이라고 했지만, 내부 손상/마모로 인해 플라이휠과의 맞물림 문제 지속. 새 스타터로 해결. 배터리 교체 - 9년 경과한 기존 배터리(Optima Blue-top)를 새 배터리로 교체(예비 조치). 배전기 문제가 연쇄적인 문제들을 야기했으므로, 그라인딩 소음이 들리면 즉시 시동 시도를 중단할 것을 권장.

Been and collected it this lunchtime after another test drive and I read the codes whilst out & about and thankfully zero issues Will collect the 18" alloys & winter tyres ASAP and then sell the 403Ms off; they've just been refurbed but a) I don't like them that much, b) not a fan of black wheels at all and c) the RFTs are crap Parts already been ordered (OEM velour mats and M Sport grilles via Cotswolds BMW) and a full oil & filter change kit etcThe parts list will continue to grow haha
