Just picked this up today after trading in our old 9 year old GLC350d with 63K on it.It's a 2025 with 9000 miles on it and has got the big 31kw battery on it and well, the tech has moved on hasn't it !!I wanted a premium plus hybrid but my wife wanted the neva interior so...we now have a Premium Why PHEV ? Well it's basically my wife's car and she does less than 15 miles a day, so the 350d was completely the wrong engine for her even though it never gave us any issues in the time we had it. But I think with the range on this c70 miles means that we'll use little to no petrol now.Am going to ne

So we've had 2 separate 1 week holidays this month. 1 in Bude and one in Instow (nr Bideford)I filled the car up with Petrol at the start of holiday 1 and have been from our House (Chew Valley nr Bristol) down to Bude, spent the week bimbling round Bude and the area and then back home. Then after a week at work down to Instow again, a week around instow and then back again....on half a tank of Petrol !Luckily I was able to charge in both holiday cottages so basically ALL our miles were on battery alone. Left Instow at 98% SoC and just got home. Came off the M5 at Weston onto the A38 and all the way home was just done on electric mode onlyI'm continuing to be amazed at how frugal this is considering that it probably weighed easily 2500kg (car plus boot full of luggage, 2 dogs and 2 people)

When Tesla gives you much the same with the added benefit of a luxury charging network? Would it just be beauty?That's about the only thing they could possibly conjure as a point of difference but I doubt they can comply with a myriad of technical parameters for a global car AND make something gorgeous looking. The only way of making something quite different would be to not package the battery as a skateboard
