Well abit of a curveball recently, my wife has landed a new position and gained a new company car, so this has flipped my Vectra shed usage on its head!This means the leggy '12 E91 318d she currently uses (which I also begrudgingly maintain) will be sitting around not being used, so it looks very very likely I will be jumping ship into this and parking up the Vectra as a spare car now, which also owes me nothing as I have owned it for over 10 years.I really dont want to sell it, but i also understand a car sitting around is not good either....first world problem dilemma time! Its been a tremendous car and owes me nothing as we all know, also fixed a few things on it recently, and will be a good car to hop in if anything happens to the over-complicated diesel BMW....which is also nearing 180,000 miles with numerous errors I clear for it to regen.This makes financial sense too, as the amount of driving I do, I can easily get more mileage from the 3 series on a proper run and it is also £35 VED per year, where as the Vectra is close to £30 per month now...not massive, but soon adds up.I plan on getting it in for a early MOT in couple of weeks (passing hopefully...) then SORN'ing it on my drive, might give it a wash too.Sad times for Shedvec, its been a good'n!Edited by 7 5 7 on Thursday 16th July 12:47

Been and collected it this lunchtime after another test drive and I read the codes whilst out & about and thankfully zero issues Will collect the 18" alloys & winter tyres ASAP and then sell the 403Ms off; they've just been refurbed but a) I don't like them that much, b) not a fan of black wheels at all and c) the RFTs are crap Parts already been ordered (OEM velour mats and M Sport grilles via Cotswolds BMW) and a full oil & filter change kit etcThe parts list will continue to grow haha
