Wonder if it was a tactic to make the car feel quicker by seeing the needle move round faster if you only had the dial going to 85. It was the law in the US at the time - 55 mph national speed limit, and the maximum allowed increment on the speedometer was 85 mph.

This looks fantastic. I think it's got to a point you'd have to be daft to buy the G90 M5 over this or a top end Taycan. Either pure combustion or pure electric, the PHEVs are just a pointless, overcomplicated middle option
