So thats been a long time.. I should probably do an update.well this is more of an explainer than an update as Im very sorry to say progress ground to a halt after Goodwood.The push to get it to Goodwood was a 'just make it happen' and worry about it later affair. That meant worry about the cost later! and the time dedicated to get it made and together meant the eye was very much off earning money for a few months in the lead up to it. So once the rush and excitement of Goodwood was over I was left in a pretty big void. The effort post GW was on getting customers back for the day job but it seems 2026 has been a difficult time all round and its never really got back to where I was. So all effort had literally been on surviving which has meant the car project has sat in the corner of my workshop looking pretty but not doing much else. Ultimately I now find myself scaling back and I'm loosing the unit and the cnc machines which if im honest is a real blow. I loved having these, and this space. As a 'builder' its been a dream mancave! (so if you know anyone who wants a 5 axis cnc drop me a pm...)Fortunately, for the car project, the main big bits are all done so it will be possible to finish from the garage, which, will actually be quite nice to be able to work on it with a little less guilt in the evenings.While practical work has been difficult I have been working a 'pivot' which is a total change from 'my work' which is quite exciting (and kept me going this year). I will update with this here soon as your thoughts on it will be very interesting to hear. Fingers are crossed that this creates a new direction which can stabilize things.So, sorry there's no big reveal out of the blue. Its down, but not out..
