증상

2004 Subauer Outback에서 헤드 개스킷 손상 후 연쇄적인 수리비 발생. 타이밍 벨트 교체 후에도 지속적인 문제 발생 중. 타이밍 풀리 볼트가 손상된 상태.

처리 내용

헤드 개스킷 수리가 제대로 되지 않았음. DOHC 모델의 경우 타이밍 설정이 복잡하므로 전문가도 재작업이 필요할 수 있음. 엔진 프론트 부분을 분해했다면 타이밍 벨트와 모든 보조 부품(tensioner pulley, 기타 프론트 엔진 부품)을 새것으로 교체했어야 함. 타이밍 풀리 볼트 손상은 부실 수리의 증거. 엔진이 타이밍 failure를 경험했으므로 향후 추가 문제 발생 가능성 높음. 15년식 차량이고 이미 10만 마일 이상 주행했다면 추가 수리비 발생 가능성을 고려하여 차량 처분 검토 필요.
