브레이크 패드 교체 후 한쪽 패드는 완전하고 다른 쪽은 닳아 없어짐. 주행 후 브레이크가 매우 뜨거워짐
처리 내용
가이드 핀이 고착되면 캘리퍼가 제대로 슬라이드되지 않습니다. 슬라이딩 캘리퍼의 경우 브레이크를 밟으면 피스톤이 한쪽 패드를 디스크(로터)에 밀어붙이고, 동시에 캘리퍼를 역방향으로 밀어서(뉴턴의 작용-반작용 법칙) 캘리퍼가 가이드 핀을 따라 슬라이드되면서 다른 쪽 패드도 디스크에 밀어붙입니다. 캘리퍼가 슬라이드되지 않으면 두 번째 패드가 계속 디스크에 눌린 상태가 되어 그 바퀴의 브레이크가 항상 반쯤 걸린 상태가 되므로 매우 뜨거워집니다. 차를 들어올렸을 때 그 바퀴가 다른 쪽보다 훨씬 더 돌리기 힘들 것입니다. 캘리퍼를 분리하고 두 가이드 핀을 모두 제거합니다. 둘 다 자유롭게 슬라이드될 때까지 청소하고, 재윤활한 후 재조립하되, 손상된 부츠는 새 것으로 교체합니다(부츠 손상이 고착의 일반적인 원인입니다). 양쪽 캘리퍼가 같은 상태임을 확인하기 위해 반대쪽도 동일하게 작업합니다.

2019 Dodge Ram 5.7L HEMI, 100km 미만. 브레이크 작업 후 시운전 중 풀 스로틀로 0-70mph까지 한 번 가속 후 발생. 엔진 미스파이어 시작, 체크 엔진 라이트 깜박임. 리듬컬한 탭탭탭 소리 발생(collapsed lifter 유사음). 2/3 스로틀 이상에서만 발생, 정상 주행 시에는 미스만 있고 해머링음 없음.

Lovely ready and I love your choice!! The E60 was one of the best M5s I ever had - On road and track Use it, and enjoy every moment of the magnificent engine!! I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.

I think it is a shame to lose one of the distinctive features of the 944 (the wrap around rear screen).Proportions from rear three-quarters are also a bit too Scimitar for my taste but each to their own.
