The Puma isn't bad - the regen means you can easily get life off oversteer if required. I tend to left foot brake anyway but with the 1 pedal drive it makes the car quite willing to rotate but if course not under power which is the key thing I am missing.Definitely give it a try. I've driven quite a few different EVs as I get them as hire cars. As every day cars, they're all better than their small engin

It does apply to fast cars in general of course but buying a fast petrol car feels like a conscious decision. Someone goes out and buys a sporty car and they are actively seeking out and buying the fast model. Doesn't make them a good driver by default but at least they are aware of what they are buying. If EV's didn't exist, what would some of those drivers be choosing or have chosen previously? A high spec diesel perhaps for economy and modern features. Instead they go for the cheap to run, modern EV and by default get instant power and torque. Something they'd never have had with previous generations of cars and in the hands of some drivers that is a bad combination. I do about 200 motorway miles a week, it is not uncommon to see EV's driven badly but they stand out because often it's speed and poor use of acceleration that is noticeable. Car pulls up the slip road, crosses straight into lane 3 at 80mph+, oh it's an EV. Overtaking on a dual carriageway, what's this sat up the ar$e of the car in front urging it to move aside, oh it's an EV. I would imagine many of these drivers have moved from 2.0 VAG diesels and the like and now they're in 300bhp+ cars with instant acceleration. I'd imagine most EV drivers on here, as car fans were consciously aware of how quick they are and in turn likely don't fall into these categories. Present company excepted type thing but we've all seen how badly fast cars can be driven, EVs are more accessible speed.
