증상
차량을 몇 시간 꺼두었다가 시동을 걸면 에어컨이 처음 20분 이상 완벽하게 작동하고 찬바람이 잘 나온다. 때로는 계속 잘 작동하기도 하지만, 날씨가 매우 덥거나 습할 때는 송풍구 출력이 서서히 줄어들어 거의 미미한 수준이 된다 (설정을 건드리지 않았는데도). 냉기는 여전히 느껴지지만 송풍량이 감소한다. 그 와중에 송풍 모터는 계속 최대로 작동한다. 송풍 모터, 각종 센서, 에어컨 제어 콘솔이 교체되었고 냉각수도 배출되었다.
처리 내용
에어컨 증발기는 히터 코어 앞에 위치한다. 팽창밸브가 고장나면 증발기 코어가 과도하게 냉각된다. 이 경우 증발기 코어의 응축수가 얼어서 코어를 막고 공기 흐름을 제한한다. 차량을 끄고 외부 온도에 의해 녹을 때까지 얼음이 녹지 않는다. 다시 시동을 걸면 처음에는 정상 작동하다가 다시 얼기 시작한다. 이런 현상이 반복된다. 팽창밸브 점검 및 교체가 필요하다.
