증상
로어 볼 조인트를 프레스로 빼내려고 하는데 진행이 안 됨. 프레스 스크류가 볼 조인트 상단을 누르고 컨트롤 암을 아래에서 지지하는 올바른 배치를 사용 중이나, 어느 순간 스크류가 더 이상 돌아가지 않으며 볼 조인트가 움직이지 않음.
처리 내용
온라인 공급업체에서 볼 조인트 단품 또는 볼 조인트가 장착된 신품 컨트롤 암으로 구입 가능함. 이 경우 전체 암을 교체하는 것이 더 현명할 수 있음(비용은 더 들지만). 암이 알루미늄 주조품이므로 적용할 수 있는 열과 압력이 제한됨. 암모니아는 철(볼 조인트)과 알루미늄(컨트롤 암) 접촉 시 형성되는 부식을 용해하는 데 효과적. 암모니아에 적신 천을 볼 조인트 주위에 며칠간 감싸서 시도해볼 수 있음. 그 외에는 전체 암을 구입하는 것이 나음.
