I'm 53, but I still don't feel old enough to appreciate any of these to be honest. I know of them obviously, but I'm too young too appreciate what they were about at the time though.

It's nice to read a review that doesn't dance around the criticisms. I don't doubt Audis will get better interiors and build quality in the future as they know they have slipped in this regard as a company and the later concepts look to improve on this. In the meantime I think the S5 has more appeal - enough performance and to my eyes much better looking. I do work in an Audi showroom and I personally like the layout of the new cars ergonomically in terms of seating position and control reach but the materials (like the piano black on the console) as well as the absolutely duff transmission se

Gearbox failure is common and the belts need doing every 5 years I think. Belts are around 1k I think. Gearbox a bit more.

Wife has been with this insurance company for 20 yrs at least , no issues , one accident in last 5 yrs where car ran into the back of her car , but we’ve been reinsured with them at least 2 times since , so can’t see that being the reason , she’s 65 in dec , could that be the reason ? It’s strange as they just refer to there rules on this email , no reason , I’ve spoke to them and they just keep referring to there rules , but won’t give a reason why there rules mean she can’t be re insured Obviously we willl insure elsewhere , but just seems strange they won’t give a reason for the decision n

My wives current B9 version is now 4 years old but only has something like 12k miles on so she is more than happy not to change.It may lack drama but if we only had to have one car then I'd not complain.The boot litre size appears higher than the old one but its the usable space that is less I guess because of where the batteries are now.

Just thought I'd start this topic !Overall, a really good event - with very very many positives.Ticket price - unlike one or two other motoring events - this was fair and reasonable - Very good marshalling in terms of the car park - and within a short distance of the event itself. (Perhaps the 7000 max capacity helped in this aspect?)A fantastic array of cars on display - both in the "public" car park - and special areas.
