I have been learning about various older cars on Wikipedia. I've always wondered what the "cc" refers to in the engine description. For example: 1964–1969 Porsche 911: 1991 cc 1965-1969 Porsche 912: 1582 cc

I was watching " The Perfect Road Trip 2 " by Top Gear, where at some point Richard Hammond is driving a Mercedes A45 AMG . He says that the car develops a whooping 355 BHP, and all that comes from a turbocharged 2.0L engine. I am now genuinely wondering what are the advantages of having a relatively small engine (2000cc) with such a high power output (~350 HP), rather than going for a bigger engine (say 3000cc or more, which is more common to see with around 350 HP). What good is it? I don't think it has something to do with taxes or costs to the end user, since we're talking about a +40K car

I see that almost all of Honda's cars have an "i-VTEC" logo at the back. I googled it and came to know that it has something to do with different cam profiles. Can someone explain? A diagram or animation would be helpful. And why does Honda do it?

시동을 걸려고 할 때 계기판 불은 켜져 있었는데 시동을 걸려고 하는 순간 모든 불이 꺼지고 아무것도 작동하지 않음. 배터리를 교체해도 증상이 같음.

1999년형 마이크라 K11을 저상 스프링으로 로우링한 후 몇 개월간 운전 중입니다. 차량이 매우 탄력적(bouncy)이고, 과속방지턱이나 요철을 지날 때는 쇼크업소버나 스프링이 매우 경직된 느낌입니다. 도로의 거의 모든 요철을 감지합니다. 쇼크업소버나 스프링 때문인지, 마모되었는지, 아니면 로우링 때문인지, 혹은 구형 차량이라 그런지 불명확합니다.

서브우퍼 추가 후 전력 스파이크로 인한 차량 전기 시스템 부하 우려. 헤드라이트 디밍 및 장비 손상 가능성에 대한 걱정.

브레이크 캘리퍼를 다시 장착하면서 패드에 붙은 얇은 금속 부품(이름 모름)을 살짝 접어버렸다. 캘리퍼를 제대로 다시 부착했지만 이 부품이 완전히 평평하지 않은 상태인데 패드를 교체해야 하는지 궁금하다.

겨울 타이어 세트(미쉐린 Xice3 16인치)가 여름 타이어 세트(한국 Ventus v12 18인치)보다 14-17℃의 온화한 온도에서 연비가 좋습니다. 겨울 타이어에서 평균 29 km/L, 여름 타이어에서 약 24 km/L이 나옵니다. VW 파사트 사용, 무게 차이는 거의 무시할 수 있고(20.1kg vs 20.0kg), 현재 트레드 마모 상태의 원주 차이는 1인치 이내입니다.

68년식 머스탱 직렬 6기통 1 BBL 카뷰레터, 3단 수동변속기. 일정한 속도로 주행할 때 엔진이 힛칭(가속페달을 밟았다 뗐다 반복하는 것처럼)을 경험함. 가속 성능은 양호. RPM 게이지 없음. 시내도로 35mph 또는 고속도로 60mph에서 일정 속도 유지 시 지속적으로 발생. 연료펌프, 코일, 포인트 갭 간격, 진공 문제 의심.

2012 Toyota Matrix 시동이 잘 걸리지 않음. 시동이 걸린 후(충전 중) 전기 부품들이 제대로 작동하지 않음: 전자식 파워 스티어링 작동 안 함, 스티어링 휠이 경직되고 돌리기 어려움, 라이트 어두워짐, 대시보드 배터리 경고등 점등, 카 스테레오 작동 안 함. 엔진 구동 중 벨트 상태 양호.
