To me FOTU is about the nostalgia of cars which used to be commonplace and are now rare - "don't see many of those any more". Cars which used to form the backdrop of daily life, but have now almost all been scrapped, leaving a handful of survivors to represent their fallen comrades. 2007 Opel Vectra GTS 2.2 (Z22YH) - P0130-52 오류 (뱅크1 전산소 센서1과 센서2 간 신뢰성 없음). 교체 전 상류 산소센서(촉매 전단)는 유휴 시 1.5~2V로 측정됨 (정상은 1V 이하). 새 센서 장착 후 5V로 표시되며, 정상 오류 없음. 그러나 회전수를 올리면 동일한 P0130-52 오류 재발생. 고압 연료펌프 문제는 별도로 미해결 상태.

2010 시트로엥 C3 Picasso 1.4 가솔린 - 장시간 주행 후 라디에이터 팬이 매우 시끄러워짐. 이후 엔진 과열 경고가 시작 직후에 바로 표시되고 팬이 계속 고속 회전함. 전기 정비소에서 온도 센서가 240도를 표시하는 것으로 확인됨. 정비소에서는 경고 메시지가 사라져 교체하지 못함.

약 15년된 오펠 코르사 C: 엔진은 문제없이 즉시 시동됨. 2-5초 후 엔진이 꺼짐. CEL 깜박임 있으나 진단기에서 고장코드 없음. 연료펌프 작동함(음향 확인). 스로틀 바디에서 에어 인테이크 파이프 분리해도 변화 없음. 스로틀 밸브 움직임 확인했으나 정상 범위인지 불명확.

신형 밴의 OEM 스타트 배터리(70AH, 120RC)로 12v 냉동고(소비전류 약 3A)를 6시간 운영할 경우 배터리 수명과 시동 가능성에 대한 우려. 배터리가 딥사이클용이 아닌데 안전한 방전량과 3년 이상의 배터리 수명 유지 가능 여부 확인 필요.

2007 Cobalt의 디지털 온도계에서 온도 변화가 크게 나타남 - 날씨가 춥지 않은 날씨에도 도시 주행 시 210°F까지 올라감. 이전에 소유했던 Cavalier와 다른 차량들은 195°F에서 안정적으로 유지되었음. 냉각팬이 작동하지 않는 것으로 의심되며, 인터넷 검색 결과 냉각팬이 223°F에 도달해야 작동한다고 함. 엔진이 손상되지 않는지 확인 필요.

02 Dodge Stratus 2.4L DOHC 깊은 물웅덩이를 통과한 후 즉시 엔진이 보그다운되고 가속이 거의 안 됨. 중립에서는 정상 회전. 집까지 3000rpm 이하로 주행 후 시동 끔. 다음날 시동 시 매우 불안정하게 시작되었다가 몇 초 후 꺼짐. 에어 필터와 스파크 플러그에 수분 없음. 오일도 유화되지 않음.

미쓰비시 미라주(1994년식, 4G13, 95,000km) 연료 필터 교체 후 입출구 파이프에 흰색 결정체(<2mm)가 형성됨. 기온 약 10°C 환경에서 피부 접촉 시 녹아서 사라짐. 필터 내부는 특별한 이상 없음. 자동차 시동이 잘 걸리지 않음.

2001 BMW 325i 자동변속기의 신뢰성에 대한 우려 - 100,000마일 이상 주행 차량에서 자동변속기가 수동변속기보다 덜 안정적인지 여부 및 그 원인

Kubota Z402 엔진(Aixam 500SL 장착) 복원 중 연료 펌프 흡입구가 손상됨. 임시 연료 흡입 라인으로 대체하여 설치함. 연료 펌프에서 연료/물 분리기로 가는 배관 구성이 불명확함.

엔진 시동 시 헤드라이트가 잠깐 어두워짐. 배터리 상태가 좋지 않으면 더 많이 어두워짐.

배터리 교환

Mk4 Jetta TDI 엔진이 16°F(약 -9°C) 저온에서 아침에 시동이 잘 걸리지 않음. 키를 돌리면 시동이 걸릴 것 같지만 유휴 회전수가 올라가지 않음. 30분까지 반복 시동을 시도해야 유휴 회전수가 올라가고 시동됨. 글로우 플러그, 배터리, 스타터 교체/점검 후에도 문제 지속.

브레이크 디스크 교환

2003 Chevy Tahoe Z71 - 브레이크 페달이 평소보다 더 깊게 눌리며 반응이 둔함. 패드/로터는 양호함. 급제동 시 '서비스 브레이크' 경고등과 경고음 발생. 코드 리더에서 저장된 결함코드 없음. 경고는 자동으로 사라짐.
