"Here is our new hot hatch..........that looks like a small SUV and has an electric motor"As much as i try - these EV's don't do it for me.Had a look at some driving videos of the Corsa GSE the other day and there just isn't that much hot hatchiness in there...Point and shoot and mash the accelerator. Although you could say the same thing about some of these modern ICE hyper hatches with 4WD and auto boxes too...

I suppose if a car was under warranty and only a few years old, buyers may not mind, so it's likely only main dealers who insist on chucking stuff away. Anything they can't retail goes to auction or is traded out.

Cars have all got bigger, but paradoxically less comfortable over the years, in my opinion.

This one's been on the back burner for nearly 20 years.. and now I've got a place with a garage, I can unveil this projectOriginally I had a GTE coupe but this proved a bit too rotten for my skills and life got in the way (aka university / finding a stable job) so that one got sold so it was out of my friend's driveway and saved. He then gave me this coupe for the price of sorting out the V5 (pink slip for those in the US) which totaled a measly £35.. the car has been valued at a fair bit more, given It's a none sunroof coupe. 6.0 LQ4 엔진 블록(쉐보레 LS2 아이언 블록, 서버번 등에 사용) 구입 후 터보차징용으로 엔진 빌드 시작. 포지드 피스톤, 링 갭, ARP 볼트 전체 사용. 머신샵에서 블록, 헤드, 크랭크 작업 완료 후 조립 진행 중.

구형 누오바 500 (TNJ 41G)에 126 엔진을 교체 장착했으나 최고 속도 70mph 이상을 내기 어려움. 신형 500의 성능 향상 정도가 궁금함.

대시 상판 제거 및 HVAC 컨트롤 작업 중. 현재 대시가 녹색이며, 검은색 대시로 교환 계약 추진 중. 히터 박스는 엔진 제거 전까지 분리 불가능한 상태.

Obviously people don't pay list for any mainstream car, but EVs do seem to have more unrealistic list prices than most. Taking our MG4 for example; it's a cheap Chinese family car, which presumably should be amongst the worst in terms of depreciation. I think new list was £32k which makes its current ~£15k value at three years old look pretty bad (53% of its value lost); but when it was new people were actually paying more like £27k for them which makes the depreciation more like 45% over three years, which feels about par for the course for a mainstream car really.
