I accept most journeys are short but most buyers of new vehicles hope to make occasional trouble free longer journeys x times a year.I think we’ll just have to wait a bit longer for better mainstream ordinary bespoke EV platforms from Eurocentric brands to come online. Just picked this up today after trading in our old 9 year old GLC350d with 63K on it.It's a 2025 with 9000 miles on it and has got the big 31kw battery on it and well, the tech has moved on hasn't it !!I wanted a premium plus hybrid but my wife wanted the neva interior so...we now have a Premium Why PHEV ? Well it's basically my wife's car and she does less than 15 miles a day, so the 350d was completely the wrong engine for her even though it never gave us any issues in the time we had it. But I think with the range on this c70 miles means that we'll use little to no petrol now.Am going to ne

After years of different cars ranging from Mk 1 GTi’s, Mk1 MX5 BBR turbo, 106 Rallyes, GTi-6, e36 Tourings, Volvo wagon, SAAB Aero wagon, Brabus E class wagon, Porsche 944S2, TVR Cerbera & Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT (6.4 litre).The SRT and Cerb were sold for a house project, had the Cerbera 4 years & the SRT 2, loved them both and great fun in completely different ways.I already had a Mk8 Fiesta ST 2, so thought that would do for fun and added some Dreamscience & Mountune goodies to it. Nice idea but seems like it falls a bit short of the its main rival, the Renault (not least on price and range)

Just another lardy minging EV in a world of Jaecoo, Omoda, etc. mingers but with more performance and a much higher price.I'm sure it will sell but I wouldn't want one if I was given it - unless I could sell it straightaway!
