Lovely ready and I love your choice!! The E60 was one of the best M5s I ever had - On road and track Use it, and enjoy every moment of the magnificent engine!! I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

This looks fantastic. I think it's got to a point you'd have to be daft to buy the G90 M5 over this or a top end Taycan. Either pure combustion or pure electric, the PHEVs are just a pointless, overcomplicated middle option

Bad luck chaps! It's so easily done when in the thick of it and it's only the fact that the Cayenne I built had no coolers outboard of the chassis structure that meant I escaped unscathed having done the same several times! Fingers crossed Garage Royal come up with a fix that gets you back in the thick of it.

Many decades ago we needed trade unions to protect employees from blood-sucking SMEs. Now we could do with trade unions who can protect SMEs from huge national/global blood-sucking corporations.The problem hasn't gone away, it's just moved further up the chain.The way that companies like amazon and booking.com work just pushes up prices for consumers and cuts margins in SMEs, all in return for nothing but a little convenience.

I had one of these but in Estoril blue. I added a strut brace and an Eisenmann exhaust to make it sing! Photo is of us having some fun in the Dolomites along with about 10 other Zeds. The hatchback grew on me a few years after release, and now I think it’s my favourite shape. But never liked them in white for some reason, in that colour they just seem unpainted to my eyes.

Scrolling on Instagram, I spotted this videohttps://www.instagram.com/reel/Dd1-9nvNB-_/?stkn=M...They had to separate the body and drivetrain of an Aston Martin Rapide because a nut had come loose on the wiper mechanism. Massive bill for a simple fix. It got me think back to my dads mk3 mondeo which was meant to be a bumper off job to swap a headlight bulb. I think the 2nd gen Renault Megane was the same. What else is there out there that requires a degree in engineering, a 4 poster lift and a snap on lorry full of tools to change a fuse or something equally as easy?

Regarding the biggest bill, I think I will still never ever get over the £800 oil filter housing gasket for my Gallardo or the £600 exhaust clamp (4 required!)

New car time for me. I picked this up this week after a 6 week delay thanks to the JLR cyber attack. I ordered it back in June so the overall wait hasn't been terrible. It replaces an M3 Touring that was great but felt a bit small at times. Since the Octa was announced I've loved the idea and all reviews of it are fantastic. The new Defender has grown on me since its introduction and the Octa really does seem to be a car that ticks most boxes for me.They come pretty well loaded as standard. I chose the standard car over the Edition One as I'm not a fan of huge amounts of carbon fibre. C
