I am, of course talking about parts of the car itself, not the license plates and personal effects. The car is a 2002 Daewoo Lanos. It is being junked because the engine failed (the cylinder head cracked), and I decided to buy a different vehicle instead of replacing the engine. When it broke down, the car had a new battery (literally only a month old) and I disconnected the terminals so it wouldn’t go bad. My car was returned to me today with crazy residue on the windows. This caused the windows to jam and stuck when scrolling up/down. I mentioned this to the shop and they seem to fix the jamming; however, the windows, after the tint was removed, crazy amount of residue remains. Would nail polish remover be safe to use as a solution ? Should I demand the shop to fix this ?

MY WIFE'S 2018 CAMRY ROLLED AWAY DOWN OUR DRIVEWAY WHILE THE SHIFTER WAS IN PARK. IT'S GOT 33K MILES ON IT. I have been chasing this overheating problem for a couple of months now, and I am thoroughly frustrated. The first issue was a hole in a short, S-shaped hose that goes from the the air bleed valve on the top of the water pump, to a metal line that goes back to the heater coil…I think. I am here with another question Civic (european version) sedan 2010 80k miles. I have a situation which s been going on for long time and it only gets worse. I’m trying to understand why my 2011 civic (8th gen) is generating a p0128 code (coolant temp too low). It’s happened twice, spaced about 7 weeks apart. Neither engine nor cooling system has had recent work, and coolant is at normal level and has not changed level. Both times that the code showed up, the radiator fans were running, and the car had been running for a good while already, so the car seems to have gotten to 210F, which seems to be the trigger temp for the fans. At various time the car won’t start. You can hear the starter gear engage but almost instantly disengage. Starter and battery have been replace along with tipem board. The car has been towed 6 times because it won’t start for my wife only to start upon arrival at the repair shop. If you put the ignition in the start position and place the transmission in reverse or neutral, then turn the ignition off and then put the transmission back in park it will start up. 만5년 9만5천정도 탔는데 예방정비 차원에서 교환했구요 생각보다 차이가 많이 나네요 보통 8만~10만정도가 수명으로 알고있는데 이정도 차이면 5만에 한번은 갈아줘야 할듯 심지어 고품 상태가 오일이 새거나 허당이거나 그런것도 아니고 작업할때만 해도 이정도면 멀쩡한거 아닌가 싶었는데 이정도로 차이날줄은 몰랐네요

Mazda 5 - does 2x6k commute lately - previously all freeway miles. I use Mobil 1 and Wix filter - change yearly. Once sent it to lab after about 15months of use - Blackstone recommended extending the interval - but I am doing yearly, 4k. Since the last oil change, 1k, oil is relatively dark compared to Volt or 2017 Prius with 40k. So thinking of using it in my next oil change: add the Flush and run for 20min on the existing oil put some cheap engine oil (use the same filter?) and drain it again after 10min of idling chnage filter and put Mobil 1 What do u guys think? Driving down the interstate it started snowing and it was a wet snow so it was sticking to the front of the car. Warning light for the front collision light came on and said was disabled or something like that. It was also white outs during this snow storm so with that out not knowing if there's a car in front of me put not only my life but my husband's life in danger. Once we stopped for gas and cleared front of car off it was fine. We've owned this car since 2018 and this is the 1st snowstorm we've encountered this.

Hi I have trouble with diagnosing no comm between modules. The relays is clicking when I open or clôose door or when ignition is on. The network shows intermittent short (can low to can high and also to ground but only to ground pins on DLC not on physical metal.) When measured disconnected PCM the short was on PCM but also on BCM so when disconnected both of them the network was finally not shorted. I think something between these modules is shorted and making both of them go crazy. Both of them were replaced, checked the grounds… Any of you have some tips which I should do next? thanks topol

I DROVE IT SLOWLY HOME AND HAD TO PARK IT FOR NEARLY TWO WEEKS TO WAIT FOR AN APPOINTMENT BECAUSE I WAS VERY CONCERNED THAT IT WOULD LOCK UP TOTALLY,. 90s Toyotas have a rubber strip around the wheel to protect it from getting hit by someone’s door. It goes in the same place as a fender flare on a truck. The rubber is shrinking and starting to come off. What kind of adhesive works for this? Also, the fancy looking silver lining that goes on the outside of the rubber around the back window is coming off. Any recommendations for that?
