250k miles on this one. High mileage cars appear to gravitate towards me. I went to see this one courtesy of Bolidemichael of this parish. I've wanted an M5 for a while, and this one intrigued me because of the mileage and the fact that the then current owner had done all of it bar 30k! It was either going to be worn out and a waste of time, or well maintained and worth a shot. Luckily for me it was the latter. My high mileage 911 had just slightly broken on me yet not actually failed to proceed (detailed in its own thread). I needed another car while I sorted that out and this fitted the bill

OK, so it's a bit boring after an M3, but a good car in it's own right. As mentioned in my Car Buying thread, an automatic diesel convertible perhaps isn't many people's idea of a fun car, but it ticks a lot of boxes and I'm enjoying it so far, treating it for what it is.It's an N57 model, so has 245bhp and 384lb/ft. Plus it's only a remap away from significantly more, although plenty sufficient for now. There's the typical diesel clatter getting up

The Maserati for me too but only the facelift version from 2017 onwards. God knows what age the tech in the infotainment system is in that example.

히터 블로워가 #4 팬 위치에서만 작동. 릴레이/퓨즈 또는 히터 레지스터 요소 고장 의심. 이전에 비슷한 증상이 시그넘에서 발생했었음 (팬이 고착되어 레지스터 고장 유발). 온도계 변동 있었으나 재시작 후 정상화. 최근 610마일 주행했음.

Lovely, but I’d definitely have to change that steering wheel.If you bought using their finance it nearly doubles the price!

아내가 온라인 기사를 읽었는데 메르세데스가 스캔 툴로 보닛(보네)을 열도록 요구한다고 함. 기사에서는 $100,000짜리 차량이라고만 설명했고, 보닛을 억지로 열면 전자부품이 손상되어 보증이 무효가 된다고 했음

인터넷이 없던 과거에는 자동차 실린더 헤드를 새로 구입하기 어려웠기 때문에 부식과 균열을 TIG 용접으로 직접 수리했다. 당시에는 이러한 수리 방법에 대해 크게 우려하지 않았다.
