Hi all, These are the issues of a Maserati 1990 (Quattroporte) 422, 2000 SL.6 cylinders, fule injection.The car lives in Greece, and is in pristine condition. 1) The rpms go up when the engine is idle (no gear?) e.g when you stop at a light. Apparently this is an unexpected behavior. Could you give me a list of possible reasons? 2)When we start the car and/or go from 1st to 2nd gear, the engine doesn’t “fire” right away. Symptoms prior to failure: harsh shifting, RPM flare to 4,000 between gears before hard engagement ("thud"), loss of power in Reverse, and a metal-on-metal noise from inside the transmission when power was applied. The car’s dashboard will light up and all systems started failing with no warning while driving. The car will not accelerate, brake, or steer properly. 15년식 lf 소나타 타고 있습니다. 얼마전부터 주차하거나 신호대기를 위해 브레이크를 밟으면 간헐적으로 딱딱해지는 느낌이어서 꽉 밟아야만 브레이크가 들길래 블루핸즈로 갔습니다. 상담하다보니 진공 쪽 트러블인것 같은데 간헐적으로 발생하는거라 정확한 수리가 어렵고 브레이크 라인 전부를 교체한다고하면 최대 60여만원 견적이 나온다고 했습니다. 내년까지 차를 탈 계획이어서 이왕타는거 안전하게 타자 싶어서 알았다고하고 수리를 요청했습니다. 그런데 몇일 뒤에 연락이 왔는데 수리를 하다보니 실린더헤드 캠샤프트부분에 크랙이 있어서 떨어져 나간 상태고 이걸 수리하게 되면 190만원 정도 나오는데 수리를 할건지 물어보더라고요 수리를 할경우 떨어져 나간 부분을 찾지 못한 상태라 나중에 더 심각한 문제가 생길 수 있고 기사님도 10년 넘은차를 190만원 들여서 수리하는게 나을지 모르겠다고 하시네요 올해까지만 탈 예정이었는데 갑자기 큰비용이 든다고 하여 차라리 폐차를 고민해봐야겠다고 하니 이미 브레이크쪽은 교체를 해 놓은 상태인데 수리 안하고 폐차 진행하게되면 다시 원상복구 해 놓고 진단 비용만 15만원 내라고 하네요 15년식 lf 소나타 출퇴근으로 32만 키로 운행했는데 190

I bought this car used with about 100k miles, took it for a test drive around the block at the local dealership and didn't hear anything at the time. OFTEN DURING ACCELERATION, MY CAR SEEMS TO SPUTTER OR MISFIRE. WHEN TAKING OFF THERE SEEMS TO BE, AS THE ONLY WAY I CAN DESCRIBE IT, AN AIR BUBBLE IN THE FUEL LINE. KINDA LIKE FUEL ISN'T CONSTANTLY BEING FED TO THE ENGINE. THERE ARE GAPS. WHILE DRIVING AT A CONSTANT SPEED, THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN. ALSO, SOMETIMES WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOPPED POSITION, MY CAR ACCELERATES SLOWLY AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN, TAKES OFF AS IF ITS PLAYING CATCH UP. ALTHOUGH THERE ISN'T AN ACTIVE RECALL ON MY CAR, I THINK THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE FUEL PUMP.

Hello! I have a 2010 Hyundai Elantra with 185,000 miles on it. Things are tight financially right now and so I’ve been trying to get this car to last as long as possible before investing in a new one. A year or two ago, a mechanic told me that I needed to get a bunch of work done on my car. We did some of it but saved the front struts and CV axles and are now trying to decide if it’s worth it to spend the money on this. So, I’m asking for some advice from all of you.
