Somebody bought a Nobel Peace medal for $103m in a charity auction recently. I assume theres some sort of accounting trickery going on with these.

I need a second car to pick kids up from school, do the odd commute once a week and I would like to do the odd track day in it/hillclimb just for fun. I've always ended up in fast FWD stuff and have built race prepped stuff before. I can't justify the cost of doing that these days but I do need a second family car and fancy something RWD that actually feels like a rear biased car that I can provoke a little and have a lot of fun with on a track day. Which kinda leads to me bmw... Ideally an m3 but I'm not stretching anywhere near that budget right now. Could do with some help from some bmw gee

In general, I don't like four-seat convertibles, but the S Class really is well-resolved. My preference would be an S65 with a twin turbo 6.0l V12, but that doesn't fit the brief here. The E93 M3 looks good roof up or down when compared with the fabric roof alternatives, but I would take a coupe if buying an ///M car.

99% of my driving is done in the South East so about 50bhp is fine

You are have a house in Germany convenient to uncrowded autobahns,easy access to a dozen racetracks.I was thinking about this because we are now awash in cars with 800-900 hp, exotics with over 1000. Not just exotics- think of a Dodge Challenger with 707 hp, ustangs and Corvettes with over 800 and so on,EVs of course can be more. I personally peaked in 2006 with a delimited BMW M6 at 536 BHP. 20 years ago and highest top speed of anything I age owned.Now there are cars with 0-60 times under 3 seconds and the perform

Had a look round a Hyundai Ioniq 5 yesterday as a friend has one on trial, went for a drive in it and just couldn;t get to grips with the side mirror set up...I know the idea is to give a wider angle view but is this making drivers more reliant upon technology?

4년된 혼다 시빅, 약 25,000km 주행, 6개월마다 정기 점검받음. 최근 점검 후 엔진 오일 누유 발견. 후드에 소소한 스코치 마크(페인트 탈색)가 있음. 후드 내부를 확인했으나 명확한 원인 찾지 못함.

I got wind of a charity dyno day through an owners group. £30 was a bargain, and for a good cause. Car made 470bhp and 692nm, which considering the 23c temp I was pretty pleased with.

For a while I have had my eye on a small car to sit in-between family car and weekend car duties. Short list was an UP! GTI and a Panda Cross. Key consideration was it has to carry MTB (on the roof for ease), a dog (inside, not on the roof) and be able to sit on the Motorway every now and again. Performance was not really a consideration, no desire to take the dog for an early morning spirited drive or hurtle around bends with my bike perched on top. As per the thread title, the Cross was preferred and so a Panda hunt commenced. First impressions are, love it. Engine is quirky, I did expect th

That looks very clean and a solid list of plans going forwards, as with others I can recommend the LSD as a big improvement on the car but there is so many little bits that can be done to these and they make noticeable improvements, like subframe inserts and diff inserts.

92년형 포드 익스플로러 기어 변속 시 노킹 발생 (P에서 D로, D에서 R로, D에서 N으로, N에서 P로 변속할 때마다 한 번의 충격으로 차량이 앞으로 흔들림). 장거리 주행(약 40km) 후 엔진을 끄면 냉각수/워셔액 저수지에서 부글거리는 소리 발생.

2005 Dodge Grand Caravan - 연료를 가득 채운 직후 주유소를 나올 때 엔진이 스터터(sputtering), 미스(misfiring), 헤지테이션(hesitation) 발생. 수 초 후 약 0.5초 정도 엔진 스터터/헤지테이션이 반복되다가 회복됨. 과거 몇 차례 엔진 스톨(stall) 발생. 연료를 다 채운 후에만 단기간 발생하고 이후 연료 탱크 전체에서는 정상 작동.

2005 렉서스 GX470의 오일 교환 후 매일 아침 신선한 오일이 고임. Jiffy Lube에서 2회 재방문했으나 누유를 찾지 못함. 오일팬 세척 후에도 해결되지 않음.

보트의 Ford Lehman 2712E 엔진에서 연료 희석(fuel dilution) 문제 발생. 지난 여름 내내 문제가 지속됨. 두 명의 정비사와 함께 연료 레일과 고압 분사펌프를 점검했으나 해결되지 않음. 엔진 가동 후 몇 시간 내에 오일 레벨이 다시 증가함. 겨울철 보트를 보관 중이고 엔진은 가동되지 않았으나, 1주일 후 빌지가 검은 오일로 오염됨. 보트가 경사진 상태로 보관 중.
