With the Type 01 getting so much negative press, what should they be releasing in October ?I like it so far, reckon it will be epic but it does seem to upset a lot of people, so what should Jaguar be getting ready that would please you ?

I remember reading a Brave Pill article on here from June 2019 about the purchase of a CAT C TVR Tuscan. At the time I thought that it was indeed a ballsy buy but admired both the bravery and the car itself. I was TVR-less at the time, having sold my first, a lovely Cooper green V8S, years earlier, when I needed the money for a house move. Being a long time reader of PH but infrequent contributor, I thought I'd start a readers cars thread, who knows, some may be interested. I bought the cars in 2025 so this will be a bit of a 'diary' from then up to now.Over the last 20 years I've owned a number of classic Fords, namely Capris 2.8i and 3.0 Ghia, Cortina Ghia, RS Focus Mk1, and Escorts Mk1, 2 and 3.They were mostly decent to very good condition and I joined the Capri Club NI and went to various shows and runs. Then around 9 years ago I got a bit bored with it all and sold my Capri and Cortina and just got on with other things.A

자동차 배터리를 방전시키지 않으면서 조명 등을 위해 400W, 12V 전원공급장치를 차량에 설치하려고 합니다. 로터리 스위치를 사용하여 배터리를 분리하고 메인→12V 전원공급장치를 빠르게 연결할 계획입니다. 전원 전환 중 시계와 스테레오 설정을 유지하기 위해 병렬로 연결된 4개의 1mF 커패시터(50V 정격)를 사용하려고 합니다.

시트로엥 C3가 시동이 걸리지 않는 문제가 있습니다. 최근에 발생한 문제로, 주행 후 시동을 끈 다음 다시 시동을 걸려고 할 때만 발생합니다(예: 마트 다녀온 후). 주행 시간이 길수록 발생 확률이 높아집니다. 1시간 정도 주행 후 정차했을 때는 몇 시간 동안 시동이 걸리지 않았습니다. 배터리 문제는 아닐 것 같습니다.

I think it was Clarkson who said that any car with its roof off becomes instantly miles better (probably on one of their specials) and he is spot on. I’ll take literally anything, however, if I’m allowed to be picky as I’ve got older I’ve erred on the side of comfort over out and out performance.

배터리 교환

양극 단자에만 부식이 발생했고, 배터리 누액은 없으며 녹도 없음. 2년된 배터리에서 처음 부식이 발생. 부식이 배터리 교체 필요성을 나타내는지, 아니면 단순 청소로 충분한지 확인 필요. 배터리 커넥터 손상의 원인이 불량한 접속으로 인한 것인지, 아니면 부식으로 인한 것인지 파악 필요.

배터리가 완전히 방전되어 시동 불가 상태였고, 점프 스타트로 시작한 후 30분 정도 주행했으나 며칠 후 다시 방전되어 시동할 수 없게 됨. 현재 상태에서 충분히 충전되어 시동을 확신할 수 있는 수준까지 얼마나 오래 운전해야 하는지 확인 필요.

배터리 연결을 끊은 후 자동차 메모리(라디오, 시간)를 잃어버렸을 때 복구 방법이 있는가?
