브레이크 액 플러시가 필요한가?
처리 내용
브레이크 액을 교환할 때 시스템을 "플러시"하게 됩니다. 이 과정에서 기존 브레이크 액이 모두 제거되고 새 액이 들어갑니다. 소유자 매뉴얼의 권장 주기에 따라 수행해야 합니다. 일반적인 교환 주기는 2~3년이지만, 정확한 내용은 해당 매뉴얼을 확인하세요. 일부 제조사는 다른 주기를 지정할 수 있으므로 먼저 매뉴얼을 참고하시기 바랍니다. 브레이크 액 플러시가 필요한 이유는 브레이크 액이 시간이 지나면서 수분을 흡수하기 때문입니다. 신규 액이 충진되면 건조한 상태("드라이" 상태)입니다. 오래된 액이 수분을 흡수하면 "웻" 상태가 됩니다. 사용 중인 액의 종류(보통 DOT3 또는 DOT4)에 관계없이, 브레이크 액이 습해질수록 비등점이 낮아집니다. 이는 브레이크 사용 시 마찰열로 인해 액의 온도가 올라가기 때문에 중요합니다. 액이 오래될수록 더 쉽게 끓게 되어 브레이크 라인에 기포가 발생합니다. 이 기포는 액과 달리 압축되므로 브레이크 시스템의 제동력이 감소합니다.

2019 Dodge Ram 5.7L HEMI, 100km 미만. 브레이크 작업 후 시운전 중 풀 스로틀로 0-70mph까지 한 번 가속 후 발생. 엔진 미스파이어 시작, 체크 엔진 라이트 깜박임. 리듬컬한 탭탭탭 소리 발생(collapsed lifter 유사음). 2/3 스로틀 이상에서만 발생, 정상 주행 시에는 미스만 있고 해머링음 없음.

Lovely ready and I love your choice!! The E60 was one of the best M5s I ever had - On road and track Use it, and enjoy every moment of the magnificent engine!! I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.

I think it is a shame to lose one of the distinctive features of the 944 (the wrap around rear screen).Proportions from rear three-quarters are also a bit too Scimitar for my taste but each to their own.
