이는 과거의 관습으로 현대 자동차에서는 필요하지 않습니다. 50~60년 전의 배터리는 현대 배터리만큼 강력하거나 안정적이지 않았습니다. 구형 배터리는 스타터 모터의 부하만으로도 어려움을 겪었습니다. 엔진 시동 시간이 더 오래 걸렸고 대배기량 엔진을 크랭킹했습니다. 시동 중 와이퍼, 라디오, 히터 팬 등의 추가 부하가 엔진 시동을 방해할 수 있었습니다. 현대 자동차는 크랭킹 사이클 중에 엔진 시동에 필요하지 않은 모든 것을 자동으로 차단합니다. 라디오를 켠 채로 두고 직접 확인해보면 됩니다. 점화 스위치가 "ON" 위치에서는 라디오가 재생되지만 "START" 위치에서는 꺼지는 것을 알 수 있습니다.

Go woke go broke. What's the point of Jaguars USP when any old Chinese EV maker can give you a super smooth 500bhp car with effortless torque and eery refinement for under £50 grand? When Tesla gives you much the same with the added benefit of a luxury charging network? Would it just be beauty?That's about the only thing they could possibly conjure as a point of difference but I doubt they can comply with a myriad of technical parameters for a global car AND make something gorgeous looking. The only way of making something quite different would be to not package the battery as a skateboard
