새 브레이크 패드 장착 후 약 3마일(약 5km) 주행 시 앞바퀴에서 약간의 연기 발생
처리 내용
새 브레이크 패드 장착 직후에는 이런 현상이 완전히 정상입니다. 패드의 도료와 브레이크인 때문에 발생합니다. 브레이크 패드는 제동 중 매우 높은 온도에 도달하며, 마찰재의 결합제를 경화시켜 약간의 연기가 발생합니다. 이는 보통 한 번만 발생합니다. 브레이크 로터나 새 패드 위에 브레이크액이 있었다면 더 큰 문제가 있는 것입니다. 조립 전에 이런 부분들을 모두 깨끗이 청소했어야 합니다. 브레이크액이 이런 부품에 묻어 있었다면 오염으로 인해 교체가 필요할 수 있습니다. 또한 브레이크액이 어디서 나왔나요? 브레이크 시스템은 뭔가를 열거나 고장이 나서 누유가 발생할 때까지 밀폐 상태입니다. 정상적인 상황에서 패드/로터를 교체할 때 브레이크액이 존재하지 않습니다.

Lovely ready and I love your choice!! The E60 was one of the best M5s I ever had - On road and track Use it, and enjoy every moment of the magnificent engine!! I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.
