증상
폭스바겐 골프 MK4 TDI 85kw (AJM)에서 주행 후 정지했을 때 시동을 켜면 "Oil sensor workshop" 메시지 표시. VCDS 연결 후 결함코드: 00534 - Engine Oil Temperature Sensor (G8) 27-00 - Implausible Signal. 이 센서는 오일 레벨 감지도 담당하는 것으로 알려짐. 일부 포럼에서 센서를 비활성화할 수 있다고 하여 계기판 모듈 리코딩으로 17402 또는 17432로 설정하려 했으나 작동하지 않음.
처리 내용
ECU를 리프로그래밍하여 센서 신호를 무시하는 방법보다는 센서를 교체하는 것이 좋습니다. 센서는 비교적 저렴한 부품이며, 오일 문제를 감지하지 못한 채 주행할 경우 발생할 수 있는 엔진 손상의 위험이 훨씬 큽니다. 센서를 여러 번 확인하고 교체했다면 배선 하네스와 커넥터의 상태도 점검하시기 바랍니다. 산화되거나 손상된 접점이 결함코드를 유발할 수 있습니다.

As title, I've recently acquired a Mk2 Golf GTI 16v project. Car is a Jade Green late model small bumper 16v. I haven't got the original engine but the project came with a choice of two. I've got a 9A 2.0 16v engine from a Corrado and an ABF 2.0 16v engine from a Mk3 Golf. I'm pretty certain I'm going with the ABF engine but that decision is a long way off. Before then the car will need inner and outer sills, floor pans, inner and outer wings, front and rear valances plus all the usual bodywork repairs.
