Another update, not entirely sure where to start with it, so we'll start with the new arrival now its on social media.9 or so years ago I was offered four pick ups to sell (back when I was actively selling vehicles). Two of them found homes and two went back to the owner, with price being a factor. Out of those four, one in particular was my favourite, and it was one of the ones that went back. For various reasons I didn't try and purchase it at that point, but I kept an eye out. The third truck sold at auction 3ish years ago I think, but the one I wanted hadn't reappeared, until a couple of weeks ago when it was thrown into an auction with loads of old toot and truck spares by the owner. I was the winning bidder, and though there was some drama getting it released, it is now in my care. When I returned it all that time ago it had just below 4,000 miles on the odometer, and now it is bang on 4,000 miles.It is a 1935 Dodge KC Series pick up with a later ('60s/'70s) slant-6 engine, auto box, and nos. I remember it being more enjoyable to drive than the other pick ups and sweeter too. Obviously it is going to need recommissioning and also, it has sustained a little damage whilst in storage. Nothing that cannot be fixed though. I am very pleased with it!I dropped the 456 down to the specialist for its new cam belt, not sure when I am getting it back but when that happens it'll be having a new set of tyres, a wheel refurb and I can finally drive it!My other half's Daimler has had a new exhaust, a new water pump gasket, will be receiving a new fan and also a full service....
