And they look st.My own take on the spacing problem is that it’s a cognitive thing and a mis-spaced plate is more difficult to read and comprehend with a short glance. We tend to know where the letters and numbers should be and what some of those numbers should be. With an mos-spaced plate, I tend to have to give it a good look and then work out what is a letter and what is a number. And it’s probably a gateway offence. Ghost plates, fonts and - the worst - 3/4D gel plates.
