증상
'89 BMW 525i E34. 매일 운행할 때는 정상이지만, 장시간 방치 후 시동이 걸리지 않음. 구매 전 수년간 방치되었고, 구매 후 약 1년간 일일 운행 중. 시동을 끈 후 최소 1시간 동안은 엔진이 회전하지 않음. 키를 돌려도 엔진이 시동하려는 시도조차 하지 않음. 1시간 경과 후(때로는 조금 더 걸림) 엔진이 시동됨.
처리 내용
연료 공급 문제로 추정됨. 시동 시 충분한 연료 압력이 공급되지 않는 것으로 보임. 자동차를 오래 방치하면 압력이 떨어지고, 연료 펌프가 한 번에 압력을 올리지 못함. 연료 압력을 점검할 것을 권장. 연료 압력 부족이 확인되면 연료 펌프 고장일 수 있지만, 막힌 연료 필터 또는 연료 필터에 통합된 연료 레귤레이터 고장일 수도 있음.
