We're at the stage that we need to celebrate cars like this no matter what and with that in mind I think fair play to Merc. It's not a looker but I bet it's impactful in the metal and will sound great. Big fan of the wheels. Give me 10 of these to one over-thought half a million quid restomod story please!

I’ve previously driven the car to Stuttgart to the museum and the Singelfinden site. Last spring I did the Affalterbach factory tour (arranged through the AMG Private Lounge) which is a must for any owner. It’s a superb opportunity with a one-to-one guide around the AMG site. I got to see two of the four safety cars which were in for service, and some inspiring machinery and some great people. I was introduced to engineers who worked on and enthused about the C36. Hi All,I own a 2004 MX-5, which I recently paid £3000 for welding and £1400 for an underside repaint, seal and cavity wax.The insurance comparison sites say my car is worth £1500, however prices online vary wildly from £1000 for a rust bucket to £10,000 for a pristine low milage example.
