증상
현대 산트로 싱 eRLX에 장착된 155/70 R13 타이어(40,000km 주행)를 최근 앞타이어 2개 신품으로 교체함. 대우 마티즈에서 나온 145/70 R13 타이어 2개(10,000km 주행, 양호한 상태)를 산트로에 장착하려고 함. 앞뒤 다른 사이즈 타이어 사용 시 영향과 145/70 R13로 다운그레이드했을 때의 문제점에 대해 불명확함.
처리 내용
먼저 타이어 규격의 의미를 이해해야 함: 155는 트레드 폭(mm), 70은 타이어 측벽 높이(폭의 %), 13은 림 직경(인치). 타이어 폭이 작아지면 측벽 높이도 작아져서 전체 타이어 높이가 줄어듦. 이는 회전 속도(RPM)를 낮춤. RPM이 낮으면 같은 주행 속도에서 타이어/휠의 상대 속도가 높아짐. 차량에 미치는 영향: 대부분의 현대 차량은 ABS, 트랙션 컨트롤, 안정성 제어 시스템을 장착하고 있으며, 각 휠의 속도를 측정하여 휠 간 속도 차이를 감지함. 앞뒤에 다른 사이즈의 타이어를 장착하면 이러한 시스템이 오작동하여 엔진 경고등(또는 ABS 고장등)이 켜질 수 있음. 따라서 앞뒤 모두 같은 사이즈 타이어(155/70 R13) 사용을 권장함.

Been and collected it this lunchtime after another test drive and I read the codes whilst out & about and thankfully zero issues Will collect the 18" alloys & winter tyres ASAP and then sell the 403Ms off; they've just been refurbed but a) I don't like them that much, b) not a fan of black wheels at all and c) the RFTs are crap Parts already been ordered (OEM velour mats and M Sport grilles via Cotswolds BMW) and a full oil & filter change kit etcThe parts list will continue to grow haha
